I like photography. I also like history. This site is for the photographs I have of meaningful places. There are few parts of humanity's saga that I don't find fascinating. I'm drawn to typical male things like battles, exploration, and rocketships, but I'm most interested in biblical archeology and the history of the Christian church. Given geography's ability to narrow one's focus, most of the pictures currently here are about the American South. For a seeker of colorful history, this is no bad thing. I would like to travel to Egypt, Israel, Rome, and other locales, and as I am able to, I will certainly add things from those places to the site.
